Interested in all manner of photo-nalia? Well, I suppose you have no other choice than to head over to Brooklyn’s Photoville this weekend! It started yesterday, runs through Sunday, and promises to be a “veritable village of freight containers transformed into temporary exhibition spaces”.
Located in DUMBO, it will be chock full of workshops, eatables, and exciting installations. This first Photoville festival, dedicated to the exploration of “exhibitions, lectures, hands-on workshops, nighttime projections, a photo dog run, a camera greenhouse, and a summer beer-garden with food trucks” is definitely somewhere to be, and an event to watch.
